What is UOrgs?
TL;DR: A platform for college students to discover, rate, and review student organizations.
Background
UOrgs was started by a student at Texas A&M University who was trying to find their place on campus. Like many students at A&M and other large universities, the number of student orgs was overwhelming. From endless bannering to huge campus org fairs, finding the right org could not be harder.
Once you did find an org you were interested in, it was hard to figure out what people really thought about the org. Was it chill? Was it selective? Were dues cheap? How nice were the members? There really was no way to know other than word of mouth.
Core Concept
UOrgs solves the problem of transparency and accountability for student orgs at colleges all over the US. With UOrgs, people can anonymously leave ratings and reviews of orgs that they are members of, have attended events for, and more. Whether a student org hosts incredible professional events, throws fun parties, or does something bad, somebody will say something on UOrgs. This makes sure that both the org and students know what the general sentiment is towards the org.
